If you adore the country house look with its elegant faded grandeur, this pretty mid 19th century watercolor needs to adorn your wall.
This delightful watercolor theorem of a Rose was produced in England during the 19th century, circa 1860. This floral painting on paper is housed behind its original bubbled glass and within its original, oval gilt Gesso frame. The painting is complete with its original back paper and framers label. This is a classically, decorative painting that will display excellently. This is a truly elegant item that is just perfect for your period interior or conservatory/garden room/ orangery, ideal for anyone who loves the English country house look. The painting was purchased as one of a pair, each sold separately.

Measuring: Frame width 9.25 inch (23.5 cm) by height 11.25 inch (28.5 cm). Aperture width 5 1/8 inch (13 cm) by height 6.25 inch (16 cm).

Condition: Some minor touched up chips to the intertwined Gesso details and some minor age related discoloration to the paper behind the rose, seen clearly on our images.
