We are thrilled to offer this beautiful porcelain plate to add to your spring or summer interior. This item was produced in the early 19th Regency era, circa 1815. The porcelain body has a gorgeous and very subtle low relief embossing around the border. The centre of the plate features the most decorative, detailed hand painted floral spray of roses, carnations and bluebells. The gilt outer rim completes this elegant look. This decorative plate was made in England but as was so common at this time, bears no maker's mark. The plate was produced by a quality porcelain manufacture, most likely by Coalport. The plate is one of a pair, each sold separately.
Measuring: Diameter 8 inch (20.5 cm).
Condition: Very good, small 1/8 inch chip to foot rim and minor wear to the gilding.
This is such a decorative item, a quality piece produced over 200 years ago. The perfect item for anyone collects early 19th century pottery and porcelain. Please see our collection of Georgian and Regency ceramics listed separately in our store.
