This rare miniature porcelain dolls tea service was produced in England during the late 1940 to 1950 period by a company called by Artone. Artone was founded by two ex Royal Doulton workers in 1946. The company was relatively small and produced pottery and porcelain from their factory in Burslem, Staffordshire, England.
The matching 9 piece tea set comprises of six tea cups, six saucers, one milk jug, one sucrier and one teapot. Each piece was lovingly made from fine, white porcelain then hand decorated, each piece also features the Artone hand stamped easel mark.
This is a wonderfully rare dolls service, the set has clearly been well looked after. This is the perfect accessory for a larger doll.
