This wonderfully composed and decorative watercolor painting of a French rural market town was produced in the 1900 to 1910 period. The artist used a gorgeous color palette and has captured a snapshot of local residents going about their everyday lives. The painting is housed behind glass in a well suited bespoke modern stained black stained wood frame with a gilt inner slip. If you adore all things French or folk art then this will look splendid in your home. We have shown it displayed on our showroom wall with a similar framed example (image taken in natural English daylight).
