This beautiful porcelain basket was produced by Coalport in England during the early 19th century, circa 1845. The fine porcelain basket features hand painted floral sprays with extensive gilt decoration on a rich cobalt blue ground. The underside features a rare printed retailer’s mark reading ‘Coalport Porcelain. Sparks, Broad St, Worcester. By Appointment to Her Majesty Queen Adelaide.’
