This quality, decorative brass ring photograph frame was produced in England and dates to the late 19th century, circa 1870. The frame is constructed from good quality, heavy circular brass intertwined rings and is complete with its original glass. The frame is sold with its original Victorian era cabinet card photograph of a sweet brother and sister; we have also included an attractive paper cut out from a modern magazine to show you different display ideas. Measuring: Frame width 6 3/8 inch (16.5 cm) by height 8.75 inch (22 cm). Aperture approximately width 3.75 inch (9.5 cm) by height 6 1/8 inch (15.5 cm).
Condition: Very good, uncleaned original patina. There is a small dent at 9 o'clock. A later added string to the reverse easel stand where it had slackened with age.
