This ornate bronze dore vanity mirror was produced in France during the mid 19th century, circa 1860. This ALL original Napoleon III era mirror has a fine original patina and some wonderful rococo inspired details; we particularly like the partitions over the circular plate mirror and the ribbon bow with hanging rose garlands. Just study those sweet putti/ cherubs and swag detailing. This fine mirror is even complete with is original rear suspension loop and wood backing board. This is a wonderfully decorative item found in this rare sought after shape; it will display excellently.
