This delightful Regency era London shape tea cup was produced by Coalport during the early 19th century, circa 1815. The exterior of the cup features a hand painted pattern of flowers and leaves. The star of the show is the interior; it is decorated with the most wonderful, detailed hand painted roses on a blue rich blue ground with extensive gilt decoration. This is a fine example of a piece of quality, early English porcelain produced by one of the most sought after manufactures. This decorative cup will display excellently.
