This rare and desirable miniature porcelain tureen or sucrier was produced by Chamberlain Worcester in England during the early 19th century, circa 1815....it is over 200 years old!!!
Chamberlain Worcester was one of the best porcelain manufactures and decorators of its day. This item has been produced to the highest quality, the gilding is excellent, the hand painted floral sprays are vibrant and are extremely detailed. We love the moulded lion head handles, however our favorite feature is the hand painted red script on the inside of the lid which reads ‘Chamberlain Worcester’.
Measuring: Width 2.25 inch (5.5 cm) by height 2 inch (5 cm).
Condition: Small area of old restored section to the lid, teeny nibble to the rim, tiny fleabite to the foot rim.
A superb Regency era example to add to your distinguished dolls interior/ toy room.
