This wonderfully decorative money box or money bank was hand crafted by a talented English woodworker/cabinet maker; he crafted it is as a scale version of a chiffonier piece of furniture, complete with faux keyholes and little bun feet. This quality English piece was perhaps made as a gift for a child or simply to demonstrate their workmanship. The money box has the maker's impressed stamp to the reverse ‘g Amiss.’ We adore the fancy edge to the money slot, it reminds us of the type found on a church offertory. This miniature piece of English furniture has a quality look and feel to it, it will display excellently and we can 100% guarantee that it will not disappoint. Please see our collection of 19th century treen and pottery money banks, they are all little folk art gems and each is sold separately.
