A stunning all original early painted faux grain frame containing an equally charming hand colored engraving...the perfect combination for your early folk art interior. This decorative hand colored engraving dates to the early 19th century, circa 1820. It features three children washing ‘the catch of the day’ via a hand pump. This early engraving is housed behind old bubbled glass in its original faux grain scumble painted wooden frame, complete with wonderful dry patina. The combination of the hand colored engraving and this unusual sought after frame give the item the perfect country cottage look.
