This wonderful trio of small tin canisters were produced in the early 20th century, and would have been used in an English kitchen or pantry to store spices. Having a wonderful mat pale peach painted finish with the spice names painted in gold script to each lid. The canisters would have stored cloves, mace and nutmeg.
Each Measuring: Diameter 2 2/8 inch (5.5 cm) by height 3 inch (7.6 cm).
All three canisters are in good vintage condition with minor age flaking to the painted surface. The lid on the cloves canister is a little stiff.
