This small, decorative French art deco terracotta bust of a child was produced in the 1930s. The artist has signed the piece on the base “D. Daniel” also with its production number “92”. This is a beautifully detailed sculpture, that successfully represents the design ethos of the 1930's period. We adore the clean lines, those stylized shoulders and the typically 1930s hair style of this young child. It is such a tactile piece that will display wonderfully in any interior period or mid century modern.
Measuring: Height 8 3/8” (21.5 cm). Width at widest point 2 7/8” (7 cm). Weight 830 g
