Measuring: 4 1/8” (10.5 cm) by 2.75” (7 cm). Height 3 7/8” (10 cm).
This item is in good condition for its vast 246 year age. There is natural crazing throughout, a small 1/8” hairline to the rim and a hairline that runs the diameter of the handle; there is the tiniest bit of old restorers paste applied to the edge of the handle less than 1/8” (very minor). There is some old restorers paste that has been applied to the foot rim in a very fine layer; there are two chips to the bottom outer foot rim.
A delight to own an item of porcelain that was produced at the same time as the Sons of Liberty were in active operation and of course the Boston Massacre.......definitely touching the past!!
