18th Century Worcester Porcelain Cup Dragon in Compartment Pattern A/F Circa 1780
This wonderful porcelain cup was produced in the last quarter of the 18th century by Worcester, in England. This First Period Worcester cup is decorated in the Dragon In Compartment pattern.
Measuring: At widest point 3.5” (8.5 cm). Height 2.25” (5.5 cm).
Condition: Although this ancient cup will display well, it has been in the wars. There is some damage and restoration. The cup had been cracked in half which had then been professionally restored, a very long time ago which has then probably because of continued usage, discolored. There is a small chip to the rim.
This is the ideal item for anyone who collects early English porcelain, it will make a perfect reference piece.
