Antique Early Coalport Porcelain Desert Dish Cobalt Blue Florals English Circa 1820
This fine Regency period dessert dish or deep plate was produced by Coalport in England at the beginning of the 19th century, circa 1820. The deliciously decorative pattern features elaborate gilt decoration, large detailed hand painted floral sprays on a rich cobalt blue ground. The base of the dish is marked pattern number 2384 in gilt.
Measuring: Diameter 8.75” (22.5cm). Height 1.75” (4.5 cm).
This item is in very good condition with no damage or restoration. The hand painted design is crisp and bright. The gilding is in very good condition with only a few areas of minor surface wear.
