This is a rare and wonderful old 1940's figural brooch by Coro. It is a swordfish made of sterling silver with a bright gold vermeil and detailed enameling. There are rhinestones through the side fin and gills and he has a bright green eye. The brooch measures 2 1/4 inches long and 2 inches high. It can be found in Marcia Sparkles Brown book "Rhinestone Jewelry" on page 185. There is a spot of chipped enamel above the gills and the sword is a bit warped on the tip. Priced to reflect this. Overall a nice piece for your collection!
