Darling antique 2-pc. dress in gold silk with cotton eyelet lace yoke and sleeve cuffs. There is feather stitching around the hemline on the skirt and the back of the blouse from top to bottom closure. This dress dates from the late 1800's and would fit a Jumeau size 5 or 6 or any other doll of 15"-16". It is made to be quite adjustable. The skirt is 9" around and has a hook and eye closure at the waist that could be adjusted. The skirt is 6.75" from waistband to bottom of the hem. The blouse is 6" from the top of shoulder seam to bottom of the hem and is 4" from shoulder seam to shoulder seam. The puffy sleeves are 5" long. The blouse has two hook closures in the back and opens to the bottom where there is a draw string for the waist to be adjusted to fit the doll. The blouse can be tightened to be worn lower down on the skirt or up at the waist of the doll depending on the size of the doll and the look that you want. This is an early handmade dress of a unique design and at a reasonable price. The condition is quite good for the age with a few light stains on the skirt and a couple of tiny moth holes.
