This gorgeous vintage 1950's Florenza leopard (or cheeth?)brooch/pin has a whimsical articulated tail that swings all the way around and is in mint condition. He seems to be grinning, and you will too—he's just so much fun! He is 2 inches tall and wide, and wonderfully dimensional. This feline figural has luminous green rhinestone eyes and a blanket/saddle of sparkling, pave set rhinestones. There are no missing stones and each is brilliant and clear; the gold tone finish and black enamel spots are in excellent condition too. The pin and clasp function properly, and he is signed Florenza on the back. There is minimal vintage patina on the back, but the front is pristine. Expertly crafted, as you would expect from the famous Florenza jewelry house, this same brooch was also made by Kramer and is featured on page 156 of Judith Miller's book, "Costume Jewelry".
