A stunning amber glass and ormolu jewellery and watch stand for a dressing table. It has an original old makers label of EM Pantin attached to the underside. Pantin is a suburb of Paris and was a center for artisans and crafts in the Napoleon III 1860 period.
The height is 7 inches and at its widest it is 5 inches.
This stand is in superb condition. The amber glass has no chips or cracks. The frame is intact and supports the stand. The silk cushioned lining is slightly faded as one would expect after 150 years. The trailing vine leaf hangers are gold like and have each vein of the leaves finely etched to complete the superb detail.
