Unsigned Ciner Vintage Figural Asian Geisha Pin with Lovebirds
This is a charming pin of a female Asian Geisha female figure holding a pair of Lovebirds on a perch with one hand. The lovebirds have ruby rhinestone bodies and faux turquoise beads as heads. The brushed antiqued gold plated coat looks like a piece of Florentine gold jewelry. The coat is highly detailed with tiny rhinestones set in a starburst pattern, the same starburst is seen on the top of her hat, but the stone is missing. There is also 1 stone missing from the coat. The front of the coat has 2 rows of blue rhinestones, 1 row of ruby rhinestones faux turquoise beads forming bands along the bottom. The bottoms of the sleeves are trimmed in faux turquoise. The pointy slippers have ruby rhinestone decorations also. The face is a single round 7mm faux pearl with another round faux pearl at the bottom of stick. At either side of her head are 2 faux turquoise beads with another at her throat. The pin is unsigned but very much like another I have seen. The entire body is highly sculptural with a half inch profile. The clasp works smoothly.
