Miriam Haskell Five Strand Faux Pearl and Chain Necklace – 21”
The necklace has four strands of chain (3 different kinds) and one strand of 8 mm faux baroque pearls with small (2 mm) gold plated bead as separators. The five strands are attached to a floral filigree bead cap and then attached to the clasp. The clasp is 0.60” in diameter, rather smaller than Haskell’s later pieces. As small as it is it can be used as the focal piece of the necklace. The center of the clasp is a crystal rhinestone, then five black rhinestones in settings and surrounded by five sections of tiny pearls. On the back of the clasp is an oval with the ‘Miriam Haskell” embossed. The only issues are that the chains need cleaning and some of the tiny pearls on the clasp are losing the finish.
The necklace measures 21" from end to end and has a box/slide in clasp. The clasp measures 0.60". It is signed Miriam Haskell on the back of the clasp inside of an oval. This gorgeous necklace is in good vintage condition and the clasp works perfectly.
