Vintage Pale Grey Druzy Cuff Links mounted in Sterling Silver Signed GMM
These innovative cuff links are crafted from beautiful druzy agate stones and are set in quality sterling silver . In researching these, the GMM stands for George Grant Macdonald, a famous English silversmith. These cuff links were purchased in England in the early 1970s and never used. Shake hands with all and show them off.
Because they are natural, the size is slightly different each one approximately 1.5" in diameter. Each one weighs 18 grams (approximately 0.6 ounce)
George Grant Macdonald was born at London in 1947 and after receiving his training at the Central School and Sir John Cass College, established his business in 1969. In 1976 he took over Gerald Benney's Bear Lane workshops following Benney's relocation to Berkshire. His workshops produce a wide range of pieces and they specialize in heraldic items for the Livery Companies and for the City of London.
He was elected a member of the Court of Assistants of the Goldsmith's Company in 2000 and is a former Prime Warden of the Goldsmith’s Company.
