Handmade Red Tweed Seed Bead Necklace
Necklace length – 23”; width – 0.33”
Pin: 2” diameter
I found a seed bead mix in all different shades of reds from a pale red to a deep garnet with some shiny ones added to the mix. It is a great combination of shades.
I created a self closure and decorated it with a vintage detachable pin of multicolored and multi-shaped stones in a gold casting with great details. Truly a sight stopper! The beads were strung on cotton crochet thread and then crocheted into the necklace. It is soft to the touch and drapes easily. Then I made a converter out of the beads I used for the pin to hang. It will enable the pin and the necklace to be used separately if desired and with the way I finished the necklace, you can wear the clasp in front if worn separately.
