For sale is this MARVEOUS vintage Tynietoy doll house flame top bookcase in a maple finish. This is Tynietoy's catalog number 300 "18th Century Bookcase". This is stamped on the bottom, and was made by Tynie Toys somewhere between the 1920s-late 1940s. This item came from the estate of the owners of the Angel's Attic Santa Monica doll Museum in California and is old "dead stock"- unsold factory stock that was purchased in Rhode Island by the owners of the museum and kept in storage ever since.
The bookcase is all wood with two real cabinets that have raised panel doors that open with wood pulls. It is beautifully made! The flame top on this bookcase is less often found than the plain flat top version making this a desirable piece. The piece measures 8.25" tall x 3.25" wide and 1" wide. It is all wood, handmade and constructed with tiny nails. It has the incised mark on the bottom as shown. This is excellent condition. There is some variation in the wood and a couple of tiny small "fleabite" areas on the right door, but these seem to be a natural variation in the wood itself.
