For sale is this FABULOUS and extremely rare portfolio of Paris fashions from 1915. This was a limited edition put out by Conde Nast for the Panama Pacific International Exposition. This is the Paris edition with text in English. It is filled with several color pochoirs (hand colored stenciled pictures) and fantastic real photo and black and white fashion sketches of the designer clothing. Each page measures 7.75" x 10".
It has extensive descriptions of the Paris season's fashions by the top designers of the time: Beer, Callot, Cheruit, Doeullet, Ducet, Jenny, Jeanne Lanvin, Martial & Armand, Paquin, Premet and Worth. This appears complete and is 77 pages long and is in the original cardboard cover as shown. The pages are in very good condition with some foxing on some. It is unlikely you will ever come across another one of these!! A great fashion history resource.
