For sale is this ORIGINAL 1920 poster designed by Francisco de Gali. Gali only designed posters for exhibitions and cultural events. This is a VERY RARE poster, and I could only find one other on the internet (in A-/B condition for $1575). The 1929 Barcelona International Exposition was the second World Fair to be held in Barcelona. The poster depicts a Byzantine Christ, architectural buildings and a bull, with great Art Deco graphics and a background color printed in silver ink. This poster is all original and complete, but in fair/poor condition and is priced accordingly. This would still frame up beautifully and be a great addition to a display of Hispanic art, but it is not being sold as an investment piece. The poster has been pasted onto poster board as shown, and there are some rips along the edges, ridges where it was not pasted quite flat, and some nail holes. The colors are very true and unfaded. The poster measures 44" x 29".
