A Pair of Sevres Style Gilt Bronze Mounted Museum Quality 19th Century Porcelain Vases with Portrait of woman on one side and Roses and Morning Glory on the back. Each has a very unusual shape depicting a classically draped maiden surrounded by floral sprays and gilt floral highlights, raised on an oval base having a band of running coin decoration ending in scroll feet, the underside marked with interlaced Ls in underglaze blue centered with an S. Height 17 1/4 inches.
Each in good, stable condition. Free from damage . The upper rim to the back of vase with some unevenness to gilt, possibly a old repaired chip.it is on the back side and it not noticeable, mentioned for accuracy purposes. Gilt bronze mounts intact with even bright finish but one with bend to one foot, vase does not sit even.
