Very pretty Victorian cultured Pearl and Diamond ring. The band is yellow gold, and tested for 14K gold. The 5 cultured pearls are graduated in size, with the smallest at 2mm, to the center pearl at approx. 4mm. The pearls are a nice white color. There are 8 small rose cut Diamonds to accent. The Diamonds all look to be original to the ring. Condition is good. There is a sizing line in the shank where someone long ago cut the gold to size the ring. This could be fixed, but I don't work on the old pieces unless it is totally necessary. On the top as you can see there is an area where the gold is darkening. This may be because the prongs were not strong, and lead solder was added for strength. This band is not thin. Ring size is 5 3/4. Weight is 5.0 grms. I would date this fine ring at c1900.
