Wonderful Victorian earrings. These are made in Black Onyx with a cut steel design on the front of each earring. The backs have a plate of steel. The ear-wires are yellow gold and tested for 12K gold. These look stunning when they are worn. But, the problem is that it appears one earring broke on the top where the metal meets the Black Onyx. Someone tried to glue the earring. So there is glue residue at the top of one earring, where the top meets the cut steel circle. These dangle 1 1/2" from the ear. Weight is 2.6grms each. Because of the damage I am pricing these very fairly. I would date these Victorian earrings at c1860's-80's.
