Very pretty Victorian Garnet ring. The ring has no hallmarks, but tested for 14K yellow gold. The top has a simple flower of rose cut bohemian Garnets. Seven small garnets make up the rosette. The top measures 3/8" roundish. Condition is good. There is lead solder visible on each side of the rosette, and under it as well. I think this ring may have been made for a customer using their garnets and their ring. I do not know when this work was done. Overall, the ring is very sweet, and looks great on. Size 9 1/8, weight 2.7grms. The ring could be easily re-sized by a good jeweler. I would date this fine ring at c1860's-80's.
