Deschutes Jasper comes from a gemstone deposit a little east of Biggs Junction, Oregon, near the Deschutes River. Deschutes Jasper was formed as mud, derived from mostly volcanic ash, which filled crevices and later solidified. This semi-precious gemstone picture jasper deposit is now located in a State Park and will never be mined again.
This stone is a beauty. The scene reminds me of Utah landscapes. I created this lovely sterling Picture Jasper Necklace on a solid sterling back with a Sterling silver gallery wire bezel and accented with little sterling ball Accents. The pendant measures 1.75”x1.5” and comes on a 20” Sterling silver chain and lobster clasp.
This beautiful pendant will be perfect for both casual and career attire. This is a one of a kind statement necklace, you just won't see another like this!
Your necklace will come packaged suitable for gift giving. I will include a Sunshine polishing cloth with your necklace.
