Colorful and sturdy -- this set of 5 Mexican pottery bowls circa 1950 has blue and green stripes with geometric circular designs on a gray/tan base.
Most sets we've seen are of four. The largest in this set is 10.25" in diameter and 4.75" high; the smallest is 5.25" in diameter by 2.25" high. The other sizes are graduated (see pictures).
They are in good condition with no major chips or cracks but they do have some some crazing, glaze pops, and general wear around the rims and interiors. Each bowl is marked MEXICO on the bottom.
Shop around for similar sets and you'll see this pattern is fairly unique.
