This beautiful picture of a "Hacienda at Chautla" Mexico is from the famous "Mexico Lindo" series by Mario Bucovich.
It is 13" x 17" and framed and under glass in what was probably its original cream-colored frame. There is some yellowing to the mat area, but the picture itself retains its colors, the red blossoms on the tree and the deep blue sky in particular.
Bucovich was born Marius Von Bucovich in Germany in 1884 and became internationally famous in the 1930s for his photos of Berlin, Marlene Dietrich, Paris, and Washington DC. Books of these photos are still sold today. In the 1940s he produced a series of photos in black and white which he colored and signed, and this is one of the finest examples. Chautla is located in the State of Puebla Mexico.
