An impressive heavy glass canister used by a member of my family for many years to store sugar on her kitchen counter. At least until she dropped and broke the edge of the lid. It has been repaired and now can only be used for display. Just gorgeous sitting wherever it can catch the light. Not cobalt blue. Dark turquoise would better describe the color.
Weighs a whopping 5 pounds and stands 11-inches tall. Bottom is 5-1/2 inches diameter. Ten rounded shoulders shape ten columns down the sides. Both rims on the lid and inside the top of the jar are ground. No signature or mark of any kind.
