All that remains from a distant relative’s collection of shoes for her charm bracelet. The little ‘wooden’ Dutch shoe is barely 3/4 of an inch long. Enamels in the familiar blue and white colors. One side depicts a windmill. The opposite side may be a sailing vessel. Although neither charm is marked as silver or silver plate, both cleaned up beautifully with a bit of liquid silver polish. Counting the hook on the other shoe it is is one-inch long. Designed with a small heel, the top of the shoe is tiny filigree with an enameled blue flower in the center. The same blue decorates a parade of small rectangles around the bottom. Marked simply on the bottom ‘Portugal.’ Photos show them next to a chain necklace (listed elsewhere in this shop as # 7763) to emphasize their size as they would look on a proper charm chain. Price is for both.
