A nice collectible mid-century spoon pin in the popular Stieff Queen Anne Williamsburg pattern. According to the Stieff website, these 3-inch spoons were actually salt spoons that were later modified with the addition of a pinback. They were often given to visitors who came to the factory as complimentary gifts. Some were also sold in retail stores. These little pins were worn in the 1950's on a lapel or on a blouse or shirt to close the collar ends over a button. This one is in really nice condition and has a safety clasp on the pinback.
