What a spectacular coat pin! Bright topaz or root beer rhinestones shaped into a leaf. The center is slightly raised with a large round stone in the middle crowned by the two above encircled by rhinestones. With the exception of a few round stones, the rest are all baquettes and navettes. All the stones are prong set. I was sure this piece must be signed, but a fine tooth comb and loupe could not find a trace of any signature.
This pin was worn by my mother in the 1940s on a cashmere coat lapel and is still in excellent condition. No stones are loose or missing. Closes with a safety catch. Measures 3" tall and 2 1/4" wide.
