Widely known by many collectors, the Moss Rose pattern was very popular during the 1940's to 1960's and was produced by several manufacturers with slight variations, but always recognizable with the familiar tiny closed rosebuds. With a new flint and some fluid, the lighter should work just fine. There is a screw on the bottom (see photo) where it comes apart for filling. Also marked with a paper label ‘Made in Japan.’ Measures 4-inches tall and 1-3/4 across the bottom. The small vase is numbered and stamped on the bottom with the Eichenbach logo Bavaria, Germany. A nice little vase in a similar Moss Rose pattern. Measures just 2-1/2 inches tall. Numbered in gold letters on the bottom 010669 and underneath 31. No chips or cracks. Both in good condition.
