Charming old watercolor dated 1938 with simple lines and nice colors evokes a peaceful cabin setting by the lake with a rowboat handy for fishing or crabbing. In fact I liked the colors so much that I chose pink and maroon to decorate the small powder room where it currently hangs. No record of Anna Jung anywhere online. I suspect she was a local artist in Ohio where most of my old paintings originated from family members of the 1920s and 1930s. Glass protected. Frame is curved and believed walnut. Overall measures 18-1/2 wide by 14-1/2 inches tall. Backing and wire were replaced about 15 years ago.
