“Music for Millions” is the oldest book in this collection with a copyright issued in 1949. Published by J. J. Robbins & Son of New York, it contains 160 pages with more than 50 popular classical selections. Each is one to three pages long to give you a sampling of that particular number.
“Standard Overtures” is listed as No. 60 in the popular "Everybody's Favorite Series." This 160 page booklet offers a wide range of classical favorites for the more advanced piano student. Among the 17 titles listed in the contents is one of my favorites "Poet and Peasant." Published in 1956 by the Amsco Music Publishing Co. of New York. Other "Favorite Series" listings on the back cover include music for organs, opera, sacred songs, and songs for children.
“The Best 4 Popular Classics” was published in 1985. Similar to the others in selection of music. Includes Bach, Wagner, Chopin, Liszt and other famous composers. Contains 139 pages with 28 titles including another of my favorites “Moonlight Sonata.” Not for beginners
Last in this collection is an undated 2-page sheet music “Edelweiss Glide” a piano solo waltz by Vanderbeck. It is offered here because it too is classical music. Published by Belwin Inc. probably in the 1950s. Part of the John W. Schaum sheet music publications. All of them measure 12 x 9 inches and are in good condition with all pages intact.
