Included with every purchase of a Rival Crock Pot was a little mini cookbook to get you started. While mine crock pot is long gone and the stoneware insert sold, the book still remains. The title proclaims: “No Kitchen Should Be Without It.” Partnered with Kitchen Bouquet, the 20-page booklet of course features that product in the recipes. Regardless of the age of your crock pot or your preference for flavorful sauce, the recipes are just as good today as they were in the late 1970's. How about: stuffed pork chops, Swiss steak, Polynesian chuck roast, stroganoff, chili, chicken cacciatore, and many others. There’s even an order form for a special book offer. Just $2.95 for a 200 page book of Rival Crock-Pot Cooking. But the mail-in coupon has probably expired.
