A small collection of pretty cards all typical of greeting cards sold in the 1940's. Two birthday cakes surrounded in roses is dated 1946 on the inside and printed on the back by Norcross. Just as pretty on the inside with a nice verse. It is 4-3/4 by 6 inches. Another Norcross card dated 1948 with Mother written in pink ribbon and tiny piece of real ribbon on a note that says “May you have a happy birthday. A row of bell flowers march down the edge on the outside and the inside as well. Measures 6 by 5 inches. A pretty little girl carries an envelope with “lots of Love” on this Birthday Note to Mother dated 1944. It is 5-3/4 by 4-3/4 and signed DA. “To Our Mother” on the last card in this collection the word Mother is cut-out and underneath is a small piece of dotted Swiss light blue fabric. As usual where glue is used in cards, it has left a faint stain on the front and inside. Dated 1941 there is no signature on the back of the 5 by 6 inch card that comes with its original envelope.
