Cats and kittens were popular pets through the years with both my mother and grandmother as reflected by this collection of cards from the 1940's. The tiniest one measures 2-1/2 by 2-3/4 inches and was probably attached to a gift or a floral bouquet. Signed by my mother and dated 1942, it is marked by Hallmark (Copypright 1947 Hall Brothers Inc). The kitten with the cookie jar is also a Hallmark (Copyright 1946). The cat with washing and the mouse with a clothespin is a Buzza Cardozo (Hollywood) card. The card with the two kittens and a ball of yarn is marked GB and signed by my father. Envelopes for two are included. Price is for all.
