Of the 30 albums recorded by Percy Faith and his orchestra, “Adventure in the Sun” was number 17, released in 1957 as CL-1010. If you need background music to get you up and going, these rousing tunes will do it for you. With the lively sounds and a cup of coffee, you’ll be set to tackle your next project. Music on this LP is more jazz than easy listening with tropical overtones. Born in Canada in 1908, Percy Faith was also a composer and widely known for his jazz and easy listening music that was popular in the mid-1950s. He was still active and recording albums when he passed away in 1976.
Includes the original sleeve, which does need some tape on the sides. Note that the edges of this album were originally reinforced with yellow tape that is now fragile and beginning to deteriorate with age. But this does not compromise the album jacket in any way. This LP has been cleaned, tested, and approved for your listening pleasure. Sounds great. All records will be shipped in approved record mailers.
