Doris Day never recorded with any other recording company than Columbia with a contract renewed for 20 years producing more than 30 LP albums. She was one of the most popular singers in the 20th century. In addition, she was a movie star in nearly 40 top box-office films. Born in 1922 (or1924), she is best known now for her efforts to promote advocacy and welfare for animals. She has been retired for many years.
The 12 songs on this LP are some of her top hits (see song titles in photo). Includes original paper sleeve promoting other Columbia celebrities and instructions for taking care of your records on the reverse side. The highly collectible 6-eye label is a plus to collectors. Note that the edges of this album were originally protected with yellow tape that is now fragile and beginning to deteriorate with age. This LP has been cleaned, tested, and approved for your listening pleasure. Sounds great. All records will be shipped in approved record mailers.
