Swing and sway with this 1950's Easy Listening (or dancing). Popular 1950's tunes include I Remember You, Singin in the Rain, and ten more (see photo). Frank Comstock (1922-2013) began his career with popular dance bands including Les Brown. He later composed and arranged music for television shows as well as writing his own arrangements for instrumental music. Still active in his 80's, his last music was written and released on CD in 2009.
Columbia released two recordings with Comstock. This one (CL-1021) in 1954 and another in 1955. The original Columbia 6-Eye label is almost rare and a real favorite with collectors. Also included is the original paper sleeve (albeit a bit wrinkled). Pictured are other popular Columbia records and on the back instructions on how to take care of your records. Note that the edges of this album were protected with yellow tape that is now fragile and beginning to deteriorate with age. From my private collection, this LP has been cleaned, played for the first time in nearly 30 years and now approved for your listening pleasure. All records shipped in approved mailers.
