Purchased in the late 1970's or early 1980's for use in our barn each spring for newborn foals, the bulb still works and can be attached to any clamp-on fixture. It's a 250-watt infrared bulb and has been checked to confirm it is still working. Measures 6-1/4 inches tall with a diameter of 5-inches. Fits all standard sockets.
Comes with its original box which includes all the information you need. Lamp immediately goes to work when you turn it on producing infrared radiation at its maximum capacity. Can be used on the farm for keeping other baby livestock warm as well as preventing water from freezing during the coldest weather. Recommended also for thawing frozen water pipes.
