Hand painted by a friend of my grandmother's in the early 1950's, this pretty little dish is splashed with little pink roses. Signed in her own hand by L. Coale (Lillian) who lived in Baltimore at the time. This one was given to my mother when my grandmother passed away in 1965. A few others, similar in style and color but different shapes, were presented to other members of the family. Reticulated edge makes it ideal for threading with pretty ribbon for special occasions. Measures 7-1/2 inches long and 4-1/2 inches wide. In excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
