Presented on April 17, 1927 by his grandparents to my father, when he was 14 years old. Includes many black and white illustrations, some of which are shown here. The matrimony pages between the Old and New Testament are clean and unused. In the back are `Bible Readers' Aids,' with explanations on how to study the Bible. There are summaries of each of the books of the Bible, questions and answers for study classes, a section entitled "Harmony of the Gospels" and at the end color maps of biblical areas.
Considered in fair condition as the front cover is starting to fall away from the spine and the leather cover, which extends over the pages, is beginning to crumble. Cover measures 5-1/2 by inches. Information on the Aldrich family is available upon inquiry.
